The only reason Elena chose Damon is because she thought she didn´t deserve any better after everything she has done. The guilt makes her believe that she is a monster, that she only deserves the worst. Clearly no one would´ve thought she´d end up with Damon. People that knew her her entire life, like Caroline, never thought that she´d willingly be with him. She believes that she wronged Stefan, she believes after everything he has done for her, even though she hurt him, that he is too good for her and that he wouldn´t want her. But there is where she´s wrong. Stefan would take her back, he´d gladly endure all the pain she caused all over again if it meant they´d be together. Because she is the love of his life and he is heirs. Nothing will ever change that.

You know what I just realized? Stefan was basically locked up in a safe and thrown into a lake, just as Elena’s character had to be sired, and basically butchered in order to make Delena happen.

Even the writers know that Damon and Elena can’t happen in a logical way they had to move all of the chess pieces around and even then it doesn’t make sense. How many times is that now? The writers aren’t even trying

stefan gave elena the cure and then she used it to defeat katherine, right?

we all knew about this spoiler before 3x23 aired, so does this mean that there’s still hope for stelena and that stefan is her one and only salvatore?
